Jason tutors students as young as 6th grade. While most kids at that age will not need more aid than their teachers can supply, those who do really do. And their parents know it.
Jason can work with students on their homework and class assignments, explaining and drilling methods middle schoolers can use to meet their responsibilities. He has vocabulary and grammar booster programs to ensure kids keep pace with their peers. If necessary, he can consult with teachers to compare notes about a student’s progress and capacity. Usually, that’s plenty.
However, the middle school years are notorious for revealing systemic problems. If a student’s struggle seems to warrant it, Jason can make recommendations for learning difference testing.
ADD, ADHD and other disorders are most effectively treated when diagnosed early. Jason is no stranger to students who require additional accommodation.
Jason is not an educational therapist, but he can recommend good ones.
